How much does a party DJ cost in Ireland?
Published DJ prices from Irish suppliers for 18ths, 21sts, 40ths and other parties, what a package includes, and what an extra hour costs.
Published 7 November 2026
Most party DJs sell a package: a set number of hours, their own speakers and lights, and set-up and take-down. Here is what Irish DJ companies publish on their own websites, checked on 7 November 2026.
Published DJ packages
| Supplier | Package | Hours | Listed price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cork Party DJs, Cork | Party and event DJ | 3 to 4 | €250 to €350 |
| Wide Variety Events, Dublin | Eco special event DJ | up to 4 | from €299 |

| Elements of Dance, Dublin | DJ and full package | 4 | from €449 |

So a DJ for a birthday or family party starts at €250 on these lists, and €449 to €450 buys a bigger rig or a longer night.
What the price includes
- Cork Party DJs says its party package includes a 3 to 4 hour set with standard sound and lighting, listing two 12 inch speakers, LED washers, lasers, UV lights and two moving heads.
- Wide Variety Events lists set-up, full equipment and PA, DJ lighting and a consultation in its event packages, and names 18ths, 21sts, christenings and anniversaries as what the eco package suits.
- Elements of Dance separates its two DJ packages by equipment: the party starter has speakers without bass bins and a lighting set-up, while the full package adds bass bins, full lighting and a smoke machine.
Extra hours and travel
Elements of Dance lists extra hours at €50 per hour on selected packages. Wide Variety Events says there are no travel expenses within the Dublin area. If your party is outside the DJ's home area, ask for the travel charge in writing.
No DJ? Speaker hire
If you only need music, Elements of Dance also lists a speaker and Spotify package from €149, with set-up and take-down, where you play your own playlist.
Prices are as published on each supplier's website on 7 November 2026. "From" prices are starting points, so confirm the final price for your date and venue.
