How we work
Four things we won't compromise on
Every price has a source
Our guides only use prices taken from a supplier's own published price list or a dated news report. We link to each one and say when we checked it. If we can't source a price, we don't publish one.
Placement cannot be bought
Listings are free and there is no paid tier. Order comes from enquiries and reviews. No supplier can pay to rank higher, remove a review, or have a competitor demoted.
Free to use, free to list
Browsing and enquiring are free, with no account needed. Listings are free for suppliers too, with no fee, no commission and no contract.
A sister site for weddings
We also run Wedding Services Ireland for wedding suppliers. The two sites are separate, and a supplier is only listed on both if they sign up to both.
How the directory ranks
In plain terms
Every listing is free, so there are no tiers and nothing to buy. By default results are sorted by popularity, a score built from how many people enquired, how many reviewed, and how well they rated, with enquiries weighted heaviest. New listings get a head start that decays over their first 60 days so the directory doesn’t ossify. You can switch to sort by rating, review count, enquiries, price, newest or name at any time.
“Featured” is roughly the top quarter of each category by that same score, never fewer than three and never more than twelve, recalculated continuously. Unclaimed listings are never featured. It is not for sale, at any price, to anyone.
We check reviews and remove anything that reads as fake, comes from a competitor, or names individuals. Suppliers cannot have a review removed for being negative.
If you think something on this site is wrong, a price, a rating, a supplier who shouldn’t be listed, tell us and we’ll look at it.
